i'm searching for the pieces
to build those necessary feelings that we know nothing about
we speak: it's like emotion is nowhere in us
it's like we're not even a part of us
and we dance: it's like our movement does nothing to us
it's like we're not even a part of us
so disconnected, fragmentary just like it should be
i'm touching incompletely
patterns i don't recognize today
up outside our misshapen design i find bottles filled with something terrible
but i drink it anyway i wanna wake up so hungover that i can't leave my bed or open my eyes i wasn't going to anyway
